Neriak is a Dark Elven city in Everquest Next[1].
History[]
In the Age of Rebirth, Neriak was a Keep, and the seat of the House of Thex. During the War of Plagues, the Keep was overrun by a tribe of goblins serving the Plaguebringer.[2]
After it was decided that the House of Thex had the strongest claim to the throne, the Keep became the capital of the unified kingdom known as Amaril.[3]
Tradition[]
Prior to the Dragon War, the Thex line buried its dead in catacombs beneath the palace in Neriak.[4]
