The Age of Ascension is the first age in the Dal Era, preceding The Age of Allies. During this time, the Elvish races started creating cities, discovering technology, and ultimately building an empire that would last 2,000 years.
The discovery of the ancient teleportation sites, the Spires, and learning how to use them, set perfect conditions for the beginning of a new age. The Dal gained knowledge that allowed them to travel over vast distances, discover new races and bond with them. These bonds would eventually lead to the Age of Allies.[1]
